We've already heard some music from Gay's forthcoming UK mixtape, and now we have another track from the collection in the form of a Digits remix of "Chrysotile."
The original appeared on last year's Dance Mix 95, and while it sported beach-ready guitar plinks and laid-back rhythms, this version places the softly sensitive vocals atop a blippy electro-pop pulse. It's similarly bright and bubbly, but the rhythmic backbone makes this remix a little more urgent.
The mixtape is called To the Choir. It features new music produced by Slim Twig, some prior singles and a couple of remixes from Dance Mix 95. The cassette will be out on May 6 through Heart Throb Records and can be ordered here.
