Gang Gang Dance have got the remix treatment courtesy of Lee "Scratch" Perry. The reggae legend tackled the track "MindKilla" off of GGD's new album Eye Contact, which came out in May.
In a studio in Negril, Perry turned this five-minute track into a rhythmic eight-minute epic, which you can here.
Speaking of the redo, Perry said in a statement: "I did have a great fun in the studio in Negril (Jamaica) recreating the riddim. The ingeneers and people around also enjoyed the vibes and the great voice of Lizzi. All the blessings for the remix from LSP."
As recently reported, GGD are set for a summer North American tour, which has now been expanded to include a Vancouver date on October 15. The band will also play Toronto on July 10 and Montreal on July 9. Eye Contact is out now on 4AD.
