Future Islands delivered their latest LP The Far Field earlier this month, and now the band have unveiled plans to stretch out their upcoming tour dates.
The Sam Herring-fronted group previously announced an array of North American and European shows, but have now added an additional trek across the U.S. and Canada this fall.
The latest leg of the tour will kick off in Richmond, VA, on September 5, and will make a couple of Canadian stops in Toronto on October 6 and in Montreal on October 7. The North American jaunt closes in Boston on October 8, after which the band will head back for more shows in Europe.
Future Islands are also set to play a previously announced Toronto date on May 27 at Danforth Music Hall.
