Stoner rock heroes Fu Manchu have announced a globetrotting world tour in celebration of their 30th anniversary. And yes, the trek will be coming to Canada.
The California group will be spending much of 2020 on the road, with the band rolling out a long list of anniversary dates this morning. Among them is one — yes, only one — Canadian stop: Vancouver on August 15.
Beyond that, there are tons of U.S. shows, as well as severals stops in the U.K. and Europe. Also, Fu Manchu promises to announce additional anniversary shows, as well as some other special surprises, in the coming months.
"It's hard to believe that Fu Manchu has been making music for 30 years," said the band's Scott Hill in a statement. "We can't wait to get on the road this year to celebrate and to play some new songs, some old songs and some new old songs. Thanks to our fans who make this all possible."
