Fleetwood Mac Return with New Material on 'Extended Play'

BY Alex HudsonPublished Apr 30, 2013

Fleetwood Mac are currently in the midst of a high-profile reunion tour, but the legendary rock group aren't content to simply play the old hits. Instead, they've just released an EP of brand new material. The functionally titled Extended Play is available now through LMJS Productions.

This four-song collection mostly consists of new tunes penned by Lindsay Buckingham, who wrote "Sad Angel," "It Takes Time" and "Miss Fantasy." The songs were co-produced by Buckingham and Mitchell Froom (Elvis Costello, Crowded House).

The other song, "Without You," is an older song by Stevie Nicks that was originally slated for her decades-old Buckingham Nicks project and was recently rediscovered via a demo version on YouTube. She and Buckingham produced the song.

This is Fleetwood Mac's first studio release since 2003's Say You Will. See the tracklist below, and buy a digital copy from iTunes.
