Toronto artist Andy Sheppard's Find the Others project returns next month with Empire of Time, but before the full-length arrives, he's shared a new clip for "Night Owl" and Exclaim! has got the exclusive premiere.
Bringing together an enigmatic and engaging blend of "chamber-pop arrangements, delicate vocals, and lush instrumentation," Find the Others continues to deliver "a vivid musical experience" on the new record.
Album cut "Night Owl," in particular, bounces along to a solid rhythm section, buoyed by infectiously catchy keyboard runs. Given the song's title, it only makes sense that the visuals are set in the late hours of the day, as the video's protagonist runs through the streets of his neighbourhood. He starts by hopping a fence and doesn't stop moving throughout the entire clip. He's joined by a group of pals, who get into some mischief at a local motel.
