Final Fantasy Doesn't Have H1N1, Keeps Tour Scheduled as Planned

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Sep 28, 2009

After news broke Friday (September 25) that Final Fantasy may have H1N1, Owen Pallett now says that he only has a case of the regular seasonal flu. Via a tweet, he wrote, "Diagnosis BTW was not H1N1 but a seasonal flu + strep throat combo. A pincer attack on the T-cells."

Of course, this is definitely good news for those fans looking to catch Pallett on his currently ongoing tour, which will now presumably go down as planned. There's no word yet, though, on when we can expect Final Fantasy to reschedule his cancelled Vancouver date.

Oh, and just for interest's sake, Pallett thinks pretty darn highly of the upcoming Sufjan Stevens record. "*Cough* but I would like to add that BQE is quickly becoming a contender for 'best orchestral album ever made.'"
