Following Fevers' 2011 EP Passion Is Dead, the electronic-oriented Ottawa pop outfit are ready to drop their debut full-length. No Room for Light is out on August 27, and it's available to stream in the meantime at Exclaim.ca.
The 11 tracks were produced, recorded and mixed by Laurence Currie (Sloan, Holy Fuck) at Toronto's Sunnyside Studios, with additional recording at the Labyrinth in Ottawa and at Tattoo Sound & Music in Toronto.
Opener "Autumn's Dead" is a grandly dramatic cut that swells from sparse balladry to surging, cinematic crescendos. A press release additionally promises "catchy electro tunes that are sure to get you moving on the dancefloor," and synth-driven pop tunes like "Pray for Sound" and "ENFP" fit the bill.
