A new EP from Ferraro — the Toronto-based band of brothers Cosmo, Tally and Gianni — arrives today. Sweet Fever is sugar-laced by new single "I'll Always Be There," and Exclaim! has the exclusive video premiere.
Following earlier singles "Sugar Rush," "Fool's Paradise" and "You Look Good Like That," Ferraro deliver three more saccharine pop-rock tracks to make up the new mini-release.
Singalong-ready "I'll Always Be There" was written in collaboration with Ryan Guldemond (Mother Mother). In a statement, Ferraro had the following to say of the single:
We always wrote songs independently and then brought them to the band, so the idea of co-writing with others was completely new territory for us. We were on our first Western Canadian tour back in February 2020 when we met up with Ryan — he has a great little studio out in Vancouver. We all got together and we're really excited this song came out of it.
Later in the EP's genesis, they went on to work with veteran producer Thomas "Tawgs" Salter (Dear Rouge, Mother Mother, USS), the Darcys and Joel Stouffer (Dragonette). After years of honing their craft at the family-owned Cameron House, Ferraro seem poised to add a dose of their sweetener to the daily rotation of your FM radio station of choice.
Sweet Fever is now available to stream below, along with the video for "I'll Always Be There."
