Feist

"Femme Fatale" (Velvet Underground cover)

BY Gabrielle DomanskiPublished Aug 15, 2011

Undoubtedly, Feist fans have been listening to her new single on repeat, but in case you fancied another gem from the songstress, her live cover of a Velvet Underground classic has hit the web. Teaming up with a few musically inclined pals, Feist fronted VU's "Femme Fatale," from their 1967 album with Nico.

Radiohead's Colin Greenwood, the HotRats (Nigel Godrich with Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey of Supergrass), Air's Nicholas Godin and Soap&Skin came together last month in Paris for a one-time tribute to the influential New York outfit. Having played predominantly tracks from VU's aforementioned Andy Warhol-produced album, you can have a listen to Feist's contribution below courtesy of TwentyFourBit.

Feist's Metals will be available on October 4 in Canada via Arts & Crafts.
