He'll be playing in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal later this year

BY Kaelen BellPublished Apr 5, 2022

Father John Misty is releasing his fifth studio album Chloë and the Next 20th Century this Friday, and today he's shared the record's quasi-title track and announced a massive world tour that includes stops in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

The North American leg of the tour begins Sunday, July 31, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and ends Saturday, October 8, in Durham, NC. Along the way, he'll be playing Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall on September 27, M Telus in Montreal on September 26, and Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre on August 25.

He'll be joined by Suki Waterhouse for the majority of the tour, including all Canadian dates. Tickets are on sale to the general public this Friday, April 8, at 10 a.m. local time.

The new track — which closes the record — is a sprawling epic, complete with a gnarly guitar solo. Check it out, plus the full list of tour dates, below.
