Estrons

"Aliens"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Dec 10, 2015

Wales-based alt-rockers Estrons are ready to unveil a new free track called "Aliens," and Exclaim! has got your exclusive first listen to the new song.

It comes from the band's upcoming debut EP Whoever She Was… and really showcases the origins of the band's name. "Estrons" is a Welsh term meaning "strangers" or "aliens" — and given that the band is fronted by Canadian-Swedish import Taliesyn Kallström, feelings of unfamiliarity and alienation are certainly relatable.

Formed with a mantra of bringing together misfits and mixed backgrounds, the band deliver their message with the help of "loud guitars" and "busy beats." The new track features fuzzed-out riffs that build into a rattling, rousing chorus.

You can hear it for yourself in the player below. Beyond that, you can also watch the previously released video for another cut from the upcoming EP, "Make a Man." Whoever She Was… arrives on December 11.
