English singer Ellie Goulding is temporarily shifting the focus from her sophomore set Halcyon to deliver a remodelled version of Alt-J's An Awesome Wave cut "Tessellate."
The cover sidesteps the organic piano textures of the original in favour of backwards-masked synth washes and producer Xaphoon Jones' snap beats, and also manages to slide a saxophone solo in there too. As for the vocals, they run just as soft and smooth as Joe Newman's, though at an octave higher.
