Montreal psych troupe Elephant Stone just released their album The Three Poisons through Hidden Pony Records (plus a cassette via Burger Records), and now they have unveiled an acoustic performance video for the track "Child of Nature (Om Namah Shivaya)."
In this clip, we see Elephant Stone gathered in a room to perform the Eastern-inflected psych rock tune. Frontman Rishi Dhir handles sitar and lead vocals, while his bandmates contribute hypnotic rhythms, chords, and vocal harmonies. Meanwhile, the blurred-around-the-edges camera work adds to woozy opium-den atmosphere.
