A couple of months back, Fiery Furnaces singer Eleanor Friedberger announced that on top of the long-running brother/sister duo's numerous upcoming albums, she'd also be releasing a solo disc this summer. The album, Last Summer, comes out July 12 via Merge Records. We'd already heard the rootsy first single "My Mistakes," but now the artist has just unveiled a new video for the track, as well as a whack of tour dates.
Earlier today (June 14), Friedberger premiered the clip, which finds her syncing up her life to a bunch of instructional videos. In it, she does some stomach crunches and shaves her legs in the tub before jamming on an acoustic guitar on her front steps. You can see the vid below.
As for the tour, following a hometown gig in Brooklyn at the end of June, Friedberger will be hitting the road in July. The ten-date trip takes her from East Coast to West, with a lone Canadian date taking place at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern. Check out the details below.
