Eight and a Half

"Scissors" (video)

Since announcing their new band Eight and a Half, the trio consisting of members of Broken Social Scene and the Stills have released the single "Scissors" and unveiled a remix courtesy of chillwavers Small Black. Now, the outfit have given their song the video treatment.

The clip accompanying this slow burning electro track is fittingly muted and mysterious, as it shows a strange group of people running in slow motion through a forest. They eventually stop and begin making out with similarly dressed people before the gathering culminates in a violent (albeit not terribly realistic) fight. We're thinking there's some symbolism going on here.

Eight and a Half's self-titled debut will drop on February 7 via Arts & Crafts.
