Last month, we learned that nouveau electro supergroup Eight and a Half (made up of members of Broken Social Scene and the Stills) would be delivering a new ten-inch before dropping their self-titled full-length debut on April 12. We already heard both of the EP's main attractions, "Scissors" and "Go Ego," but now the band have offered up a Memory Tapes remix of the latter as well.
Like the original, Memory Tapes' take on the track is steeped in synth pop, but the new configuration adds extra depth via a stomping club beat and some seriously wobbly '80s keyboard stabs that make it sound as if the track was ripped from an deteriorated and warped old tape comp found at the bottom of a Value Village dollar bin.

As previously reported, the Scissors/Go Ego ten-inch arrives March 10 through Arts & Crafts.
