Having released albums through Night Slugs and Last Gang Records, Egyptrixx is now breaking free to release an album through his own label. Transfer of Energy [Feelings of Power] will be out early next year through his own Halocline Trance label.
Details are still rather slim, but the Toronto electronic musician —also known as David Psutka (and a member of the side-project Hiawatha) — apparently tapped Berlin artist ANF for both visual and video elements. Transfer of Energy [Feelings of Power] is said to expand on some of the same ideas as his last album, 2013's A/B Til Infinity.
According to an announcement, the freshly minted Halocline Trance "will serve as a vessel for his music, visual and collaborative projects." Stay tuned for more information about Transfer of Energy [Feelings of Power] and future releases from the label.
If you've been paying very close attention, neither the name of the label nor the album will come as too much of a surprise, since Psutka has tweeted both of them before.
