Canadian electronic imprint Modern Math continues to push boundaries with each new release. Up next, they've got some forward-thinking sounds from Toronto artist Edna King. Today, we're happy to premiere King's new song "Dreams."
The four-minute outing pairs pitch-shifted spoken word with a swell of synths and strange samples. As it builds, the track introduces a pulsing beat and more layers of sound, but nothing ever overpowers the haunting vocals.
Listen to "Dreams" below. The song will appear on King's forthcoming Pressurize EP, due on June 17.
