After dubbing their upcoming effort The Fountain a little while back, long-running UK vets Echo & the Bunnymen have outlined the release details for their tenth studio album. Come October 12, Ian McCulloch & co. will unveil their follow-up to 2005's Siberia in the UK, with single "Think I Need It Too" dropping on September 28.
Both releases will be available digitally and on CD, and currently you can check out small snippets of four tracks from The Fountain - "Think I Need It Too," "Do You Know Who I Am," "Proxy" and "Drivetime" - over here on the Bunnymen's MySpace.
So far, only a small handful of UK dates has been announced in support of the new record (you can see those here), but as previously reported, the band will be heading to Canada for one date in Toronto on October 20, where they'll be performing their classic 1984 album Ocean Rain in its entirety.
Besides all this, Echo & the Bunnymen were also recently blasted into space, which we're guessing they're still pretty pumped about.
