After working on their post-punk game on stage the last few years, Toronto quartet the Dying Arts are ready to issue their debut EP. The self-titled effort will be issued digitally by the band on June 3.
The act hit the studio with producer Jon Drew (Alexisonfire, Fucked Up, Tokyo Police Club) to record the five-song set. Described as "raw, raucous, and unapologetic," the EP is said to jump from distorted, punk-inspired cuts like lead single "Scratch," which you can hear below, to more sombre and subdued arrangements on tracks like "Control."
A record release party will be held in Toronto on June 7 at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern. You'll find details for the show and the EP down below.
The Dying Arts:
1. Scratch
2. Bed Spins
3. Snake in the Grass
4. Fame
5. Control
Tour dates:
06/07 Toronto, ON - The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern (EP Release Show) *
