Dusted's recent debut LP, Total Dust, is a sparse and creepy affair, and now one of its songs has gotten an appropriately moody video.
The clip for "(Into the) Atmosphere" shows the duo of frontman Brian Borcherdt (of Holy Fuck fame) and producer/drummer Leon Taheny performing in slow motion. It appears to have been shot using a Super 8 camera and overlaid with stock footage, since the musicians are scarcely visible thanks to the scratchy and poorly lit image. But given the haunting nature of the song, these murky visuals hit the mark.
Total Dust is out now via Hand Drawn Dracula/Polyvinyl.
The clip premiered at Pitchfork.
