"Are You Okay" is the name of a track from Dum Dum Girls' recent album, Too True, and now it has spawned an 11-minute short film written by Bret Easton Ellis and starring Dum Dums singer Dee Dee Penny.
The film is a psychological thriller that takes Dee Dee to an appointment with a psychiatrist, to an empty art gallery, and to some sort of a strange structure in the desert. Naturally, the soundtrack includes "Are You Okay," while the rest of the score comes courtesy of Tamaryn and Drew McDowall.
