Dry Cleaning released their stellar second full-length Stumpwork last year, and they've just announced that they're following it up with the Swampy EP, arriving March 1 on 4AD

The five-track EP features two new songs — "Swampy" and "Sombre Two," both of which you can listen to today — plus a remix of "Hot Penny Day" by Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, as well as a Nourished by Time remix of "Gary Ashby." There's also a demo of a song called "Peanuts."

"These two songs were recorded in the Stumpwork sessions and they feel like good companions," Dry Cleaning said in a statement about "Swampy" and "Sombre Two." "They share a dusty, desolate and spacey atmosphere. On the eve of this release we have been touring through the southwest US, where these songs feel at home in the arid, Mars-like landscape of the Arizona desert."

Dry Cleaning are in the middle of an extensive world tour that they kicked off last month. They'll be on the road until April, playing shows across the United States, Canada and Europe. Exclaim! was at their Toronto show back in January, and we sat down with the band to discuss Stumpwork, pubes and tortoises in October of last year.
