Don Caballero Dig into Archives for New Live Album

BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 12, 2012

Don Caballero haven't released a studio album since 2008's Punkgasm, and while the math rock instrumentalists still don't have any new material to share, they'll be tiding their fans over by digging into the archives. The group will release the live album Gang Banged With a Headache, and Live on November 27 through Joyful Noise.

These 10 songs were captured at a 2003 show in Chicago. At the time of the gig, the band's lineup featured Gene Doyle, Jeff Ellsworth, Jason Jouver, and Damon Che.

In addition to performing songs from throughout their catalogue, Don Caballero give a new spin on the songs "Let's Face It Pal, You Didn't Need That Eye Surgery" and "You Haven't Lived Afro Pop" in the form of the medley "Let's Face It Pal, You Haven't Lived Afro Pop."

Pre-order your copy here. It's available on CD, standard vinyl, or limited edition "bone"-coloured vinyl.
