While artists like Sam Smith, Aluna Francis, Lorde, Gregory Porter, the Weeknd, Miguel and more have handled hooks for Disclosure, the group's own Howard Lawrence is working his pipes above a garage-style beat on "Echoes."
The Lawrence bros. premiered the album track today (September 21) as part of a mix for BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw. They explained that the tune is "the most garage-y one off the new record" before quickly segueing into the hopscotching electronic track.
As you'll hear below, Lawrence's cool croon offers up a stilted view of a one-on-one relationship, noting at one point: "You were dishonest ever since we met."
