Dilly Dally

"Green"

Toronto grunge-pop unit Dilly Dally left a loud and lasting impression with their last single "Candy Mountain," and now they've shared the 7-inch's flip side "Green."

The band are led by besties Katie Monks and Liz Ball, whose obsession with "slurred poetry, epic ballads, and grungy guitars" kick-started the music-making when the group formed in 2009, though the influence is still easy to hear.

They've recently invited Benjamin Reinhartz (Beliefs) and bassist Jimmy Billy Rowlinson (Mexican Slang) into the band before they embark on a string of fall tour dates and keep plowing away at their debut full-length. Dilly Dally will play a hometown gig at S.H.I.B.G.B.S. with Army Girls and Wish on October 17 before heading to New York for CMJ on October 24.

The "Candy Mountain" 7-inch is due out on October 14 via Buzz Records/Fat Possum, and you can listen to the just-released B-side "Green" below, where you'll find all Dilly Dally's upcoming dates.
