If you're thinking of hitting the movies this weekend, let Exclaim! guide you through the best (and worst) new cinematic pickings. For full reviews of the following highlights, head over to the Recently Reviewed section.

First up, Jason Segel, Emily Blunt and Chris Pratt star in Nicholas Stoller's Exclaim!-approved romantic comedy, The Five-Year Engagement (pictured), while Jason Statham plays an ex-cage fighter trying to save a girl from the Chinese Triad mafia in action thriller Safe.

Also out this week, we follow the adventures of the Pirate Captain in Peter Lord and Jeff Newitt's family-friendly animation The Pirates! Band of Misfits, featuring Hugh Grant and Salma Hayek, and director Lawrence Kasdan delivers his tale about a woman who loves her dog more than her husband (and then said husband loses the dog) with Darling Companion.

Lastly, John Cusack does a turn as Edgar Allan Poe in grisly murder mystery The Raven, and Luc Besson explores the inspirational story of Burma's democratically elected leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, with his moving biopic The Lady.
