Manitoban metalheads Dead Ranch have been scorching up the Canadian underground for the better part of two years thanks to shows across the country and performances alongside Bison B.C., Trigger Effect and Weedeater. But now the sludge-friendly four-piece are ready to go it alone with their first-ever LP, Antler Royal, which you can stream in full ahead of its October 15 release through No List Records/Prairie Fire Tapes.
Recorded in early 2013 by Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung) at Burnaby, BC's historic Hive Creative Labs, the album perfectly captures the band's brand of pummelling rhythms and down-tuned ferocity.
