Dead Man's Bones Put Out a Call for Local Sword Swallowers, Tap Dancers, Magicians to Open Canada/U.S. Tour

Some reminders: Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields's Dead Man's Bones will be releasing their highly anticipated self-titled debut on October 6 through Anti-. Right after, they'll be leaving on a hefty North American tour. Before that, though, the duo are on the lookout for some truly amazing opening acts.

Dead Man's Bones have revealed that they will be recruiting local talents to perform as an opening act for each show on their upcoming tour. As the press release explains, "Each talent show is to consist of five to eight slots, open to performers of all ages and any kind of talent. These are not to be a contest, but rather a good-natured showcase for people to display their natural talents. Halloween-themed acts will be given preferential treatment. Sword swallowers, tap dancers, magicians, impersonators, kid bands, and anyone with an talent of any kind to display is eagerly invited to perform."
