It's been over two years in the making, but iconic quirkster David Byrne and current art-rock favourite St. Vincent's collaborative album Love This Giant is just one week away from its September 11 release date via 4AD/Todo Mundo. We'd previously heard horn-heavy freak-funk number "Who" when the album was properly announced, but you can check out the pair weirding out in the new black and white clip for the cut.
Apparently, St. Vincent's got a thing for napping on country roads, which is exactly where Byrne finds her at the beginning of the vid. He props the young musician up for a quick inspection, and she becomes resuscitated to mimic Byrne's bizarre, butt-wiggling rumba moves.
Elsewhere, the former Talking Heads leader does a little dance with a bag of groceries, a scene that may owe to the multiple nips of hooch he takes throughout the vid. Annie Clark, meanwhile, gets to bust out some flashy footwork in front of the horn section.
As previously reported, the pair is hitting the road this fall, with Canadian stops scheduled in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. You can see the dates over here.
