David Bowie is once again being honoured with a sprawling reissue set packed full of previously unreleased goodies and rarities. This time it's shining a light on Bowie's classic The Man Who Sold the World period with a reissue package called The Width of the Circle.
The upcoming release is being billed as a companion piece to last year's Metrobolist reissue, which also paid tribute to Bowie's Man Who Sold the World era. Digging even deeper into the Bowie archives, The Width of the Circle gathers up a variety of non-album tracks, alternate versions and BBC sessions. All together there are 21 previously unreleased recordings included on The Width of the Circle.
There will be a two-CD set that includes a 48-page book, as well as a 10-inch vinyl edition that includes the 2020 Tony Visconti mixes of "The Prettiest Star," "London Bye, Ta-Ta," "Memory of a Free Festival," and "Holy Holy."
Both the sprawling double-CD version and the vinyl edition will arrive on May 26 via Rhino. Down below, you can see the impressively long tracklist to the CD version.
