David Bazan Reveals Strange Negotiations, Summer Tour
Published Mar 31, 2011To follow up his first solo album Curse Your Branches, former Pedro the Lion dude David Bazan asked fans to help fund the project with a Kickstarter campaign. Apparently, the digital charity paid off, as Bazan has completed the album and announced its release date.
The record is called Strange Negotiations and a press release explains that the album "focuses his energies toward the external, centering on his disappointment in the current state of accelerating American and global social fragmentation."
Strange Negotiations will be released by Barsuk on May 24. There are no audio samples just yet, but we do know the release will be available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download. The tracklisting is available below, while the album art is above.
