This band’s website goes straight into acknowledging just how often their name is misspelled. Yes, it’s ridiculous, and I haven’t even tried to pronounce it yet. But these Glaswegians know better than to coin a moniker like that and not back it up with music that suspends the absurdity. Evidently this six-piece worship Steve Albini, for this recent Moshi Moshi single is bursting with the angular precision and that industrial guitar crunch the super producer has fashioned over the past 20 years.
