After playing a full set at History on July 26, Clairo ended her second of two Toronto shows early the next night (July 27) after a mishap with her in-ear monitors.
The 23-year-old musician, who says she has existing ear problems, explained that a sound in her in-ears blew out her hearing during the show. While she's still unsure what the problem was, she did not want to risk further damaging her hearing and decided to cut her set short.

The video also depicts the crowd jeering after an audience member rudely shouted, "Can she come say goodbye?" After the representative finished speaking, the crowd is seen cheering and in high spirits.
Clairo has not yet announced whether the incident will affect any other upcoming tour dates.
