Following a trip to the house from Terrace House: Tokyo, Chvrches have returned with a brand new song that ditches the realm of reality TV theme songs in favour of videogame soundtracks.
"Death Stranding" appears on Death Stranding: Timefall — the soundtrack for director Hideo Kojima's hugely anticipated PlayStation 4 game Death Stranding. In addition to Chvrches, the OST also features contributions from Major Lazer and Khalid, the Neighbourhood, and Bring Me the Horizon, among others.
In a statement about their own original piece, Chvrches said:
We were really excited about the opportunity to work with Kojima because we have been fans of his work for a long time. He has always been such a visionary in the gaming world and we were honoured to be involved in the project. The concept of Death Stranding is so unique and really felt to us like it was challenging people to care about the world they create — in the game and otherwise. We wrote this song specifically for Death Stranding, thinking of the themes of the game and what it is trying to say to people.

The Timefall soundtrack is out November 7 via RCA/Sony Interactive Entertainment, while the actual Death Stranding game arrives on November 8.
