Aussie producer/singer-songwriter Nick Murphy has returned to his Chet Faker project with a new single titled "Get High."
Arriving through Detail Records/BMG today, Murphy has dropped the groovy track alongside a self-made animated music video.
"Sometimes you just need a break," the artist said of the track in a statement. "I find myself wanting to escape just for a little while and the song sort of showed up on its own."
His latest single marks the second released since reviving his retired persona back in 2016. Last year, the artist brought back his stage name for "Low." So far, neither track is attached to a larger project. His last full-length release under his revived moniker was 2014's Built on Glass.
