CBC Radio 3 has once again narrowed down the contenders in its Best Live Music Club competition, and that means the top ten clubs in Canada have been revealed.
After receiving thousands of votes last week, the station on Wednesday (February 18) slashed another ten venues from the list, leaving in the running six venues in Ontario, two in New Brunswick, one in PEI and one in Saskatchewan.
As previously reported, the top ten list comes as part of the latest edition in CBC's Searchlight series, which has been asking listeners to vote on which club they think is Canada's tops for live music. The list has gone from the top 100 to 50 to 20 and now to ten, with the country's number one live music venue to be announced next Wednesday on February 25.
