Cato Salsa Experience and the Thing with Joe McPhee

Following up Ada’s 2004 cover of "Maps,” Oslo, Norway’s long-forgotten garage rockers Cato Salsa Experience have joined forces with the Thing (featuring Mats Gustafsson) and jazz composer Joe McPhee to drop another Yeah Yeah Yeahs cover. "Art Star” was recorded at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival when the three collaborated for what became the Sounds Like A Sandwich EP. Though it might seem unlikely, the vocal-less cover works like a charm, especially on the bits where Karen O usually has the mic stuck in her gob.
