AUX: What was your introduction to DJing? What made you want to start? Adam Doubleyou: A Harry Belafonte record on an all-in-one stereo/turntable/cassette player, using the input select knob to scratch to the the music on the radio when when I was 12. I started because playing with records is really fun.
Where are you from, and what's the scene like for a DJ in your hometown? 'm from a town called Knowlton, Québec. The DJ scene there was mostly my attic.
Best and worst EDM subgenre and why? Best: Dance Music. It contains all possible genres. Worst: Donkey House. It's not a thing as far as I know, but I feel like it would sound really bad.
Best party you've ever been to and why? Really, the best party I've ever been to was my 6th birthday party. We danced to Jackson Five and I found a dollar in my piece of cake.
Why is it important for Canada to have an event like Bud Light Sensation? It gives people a great place to dance to good music from international talent.
