Following a string of Ontario and Quebec winter tour dates, By Divine Right have returned with a new single off forthcoming double-album OTTO MOTTO, which is due to arrive in September via Fortune Stellar Records.

For now, the band share "The Weeping Man," which arrives alongside a stop-motion, black-and-white video shot at night in Toronto.

"I didn't remember writing this song [till] I came across it," bandleader José Contreras said of the track, "then I was like, oh yeah, this thing! We tracked it at the end of our session in the middle of the night, very quietly, levitating."

He added: "The story of the song, really, is it's an amalgam of the invisible people we see every day. My Toronto always has had spirit people living in it. The people no one talks to; the people that don't go into stores; the people you see day after day and no one knows."

It's the latest preview of OTTO MOTTO following the release of "St. Leon's" and "No. 87." The band — currently comprising Contreras, Geordie Dynes and Alysha Haugen — will take these songs and more on the road when they tour Ontario and Quebec again this fall.
