Following the mega-praised London Zoo, deep bass/dubstep maestro the Bug is filling his fall/winter calender with a chunk of tour dates. After a show in Glasgow tonight (September 12), the Bug (aka Kevin Martin) will embark on a very Canadian-friendly tour, stopping by several cities on the West coast, as well a few out East and in the Prairies. Most dates come as solo affairs but there are several where Martin will pair up with avid Bug fan Trent Reznor, whose Nine Inch Nails are doing yet another North American sweep.
Recently, Martin talked with Exclaim! about his live action, among other things. "Im loving watching some of my recent tunes tear up dance floors and gratefully watched people lose it completely to Bug rhythms, he said in the interview. "I've basically changed from despising the crowd in my early band days to now proudly watching the full energy of a massed mosh pit freaking out to a track like Poison Dart. I've just tried to excite myself first and foremost, and basically hoped that this dynamic energy can translate to others.
