Brian Eno and Alan McGee Start Twitter Brawl

If you've been looking for some tasty, new Tweets to follow, you may want to check out the war of words going down between one-time Creation Records head Alan McGee and über-producer Brian Eno. In the last 24 hours, the pair have had quite the little exchange of insults over on Twitter, with McGee kicking it off by suggesting the only thing Eno's productions are good for are making people fall asleep.

Knowing how to get under a guy's skin, McGee then asked Eno, "Was it your idea to dress up Coldplay as the Beatles?" And despite Eno being the founder of ambient music, the Brit curtly replied: "Fuck off, wanker."

Up to this point, Eno appears as if he's ending the squabble at that, despite McGee's repeated baiting and comments such as "Morning Brian, wondered when you would wake up. When are you going to make a decent record again it was 1972 was the last one cunt," and "I would have stuck to the art installations more chance of having a decent conversation with a bulb than Coldplay or Dido/bland."
