Born Ruffians
Born Ruffians have had a busy summer ahead thanks to the release of their newest LP, Birthmarks, and a string of dates through the North American festival circuit. But before they embark on an upcoming European tour, the Midland, ON natives are heading to the East Coast one last time for a post-Frosh Week performance at Dalhousie University. While the summer festival season may be coming to a close, Victoria, BC's Rifflandia is keeping the dream alive, with four days of non-stop music in indoor and outdoor venues across the city. Look out for performances from Big Boi, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Courtney Love, Death From Above 1979, a DJ set from LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy, and tons more.

Supercrawl
With sets from the likes of Yo La Tengo, Diamond Rings, Chelsea Light Moving, Doldrums, Fucked Up and Passion Pit, it's not like you needed any other incentive to check out Hamilton, ON's fifth annual Supercrawl music and arts festival. Organizers have sweetened the deal with the recent announcement of an electronic side stage featuring Nautiluss and Egyptrixx and an additional headline performance from East Coast rock outfit Wintersleep. Don't miss out on this super awesome (and super free) weekend-long event. The Sadies will also be playing a launch event at This Ain't Hollywood tonight (September 12) to kick things off.
