Culture Club singer Boy George has been set free after only serving four months of his 15-month prison sentence for assaulting and imprisoning a male escort.
The disgraced '80s pop star, whose ID reads George O'Dowd, was reportedly released from a British jail Monday (May 11) for good behaviour, according to various media reports.
The 47-year-old singer made no comment to reporters as he left Edmunds Hill Prison in Suffolk, where he saluted the awaiting cameras before being whisked off to his London home.
As previously reported, O'Dowd was found guilty in January for the false imprisonment and assault of Norwegian male prostitute Audun Carlsen.
O'Dowd is required to wear an ankle tag and obey a curfew for the next 14 months, according to British newspaper the Daily Mirror.
