Maybe everyone will eventually stop making records and just release shoes. In a world where Kanye West's sneakers can fetch over $90,000 on eBay, who would blame them? Next up on the shoe front is Bon Iver's Justin Vernon.
The Grammy-winning indie star Justin Vernon has teamed up with Keep, the same Los Angeles company who made shoes with Animal Collective, to release his own line of shoes. The Bon Iver shoes, which can be seen above, would probably be perfect to rock at next year's Bonnaroo.
Keep offered up a description of the product, saying, "Designed by Justin Vernon and using our trademark Ramos silhouette, the Keep + Bon Iver shoe features herringbone accents, a black fishbone detail across the toe, and a canvas upper custom dyed to a perfect pale salmon."
Proceeds of the shoes will support the Best Friends Animal Society, and they can be pre-ordered here come Monday (June 18).
