For those of you keeping track of how many songs Blink-182 has released, the band are most certainly working on a new album. Until then, however, remaining original member Mark Hoppus has embarked on a side-project.
The new endeavour is called Simple Creatures and sees Hoppus collaborating with All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth. The band are planning to release a series of EPs this year. Until then, they've shared a new tune called "Drug."
"'Drug' is always the first song we play people when introducing them to Simple Creatures, so it only makes sense that it's the first single," Hoppus said in a statement. "I love the ratty guitar lead mixed with the thumping kick drum. Lyrically, the song is about being destroyed by the things you love."
Watch the lyric video for "Drug" below. The song will be available on all streaming platforms tomorrow.
