Toronto-based power-popsters BLANKS graduated from Exclaim!'s Class of 2020 concert series earlier this year, and they are set to release debut EP Beyond These Walls on August 9. Before they do, they've shared an anxious new video for single "Looking For."
The theatrical synth-rock track is reminiscent of the Killers and New Order, culminating in a rousing climax. The video, meanwhile, finds guitarist/vocalist Lewis Caunter isolated in a red-lit bathroom as he tries to hold on to his last shreds of sanity by playing with sock puppets, growing plants and reliving more connected times via his trusty laptop.
