Regina-based indie rockers Bears in Hazenmore are set to release their debut full-length later this year, and they've teased the arrival of Atlas with a brand new video for album track "In Your Head."
Atlas follows two EPs from the band, a self-titled one in 2014 and Airwaves in 2015. The upcoming album was recorded with producer Justin Bender at Blue Door Recording, and as the title implies, it addresses geographical places of importance to the band — including their home province of Saskatchewan.
As for the video, it's a little more abstract.
"The video for 'In Your Head' started, like a lot of our stuff does, by not making a whole lot of sense," bassist Dana Rempel tells Exclaim! "But as things came together, the video became more similar to the story told in the song than any of us expected. It's an exploration of how and why things happen, and how so often the voice that tells you what you do is, after all, just in your head."
