Band of Skulls Unveil 'Sweet Sour' LP, Announce North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 8, 2011

It took a month to figure out the specifics, but bluesy English rock trio Band of Skulls have delivered the details on their impending sophomore set, which is now titled Sweet Sour. The troupe premiered a video for album track "The Devil Takes Their Own" in October, and it turns out that song will be joined by nine more numbers.

As previously reported, the album, which is set for release February 21 on PHI in Canada and on Vagrant in the U.S., was tracked at the outfit's home studio in Southampton and at Rockfield Studios in Wales by producer Ian Davenport (Supergrass, Badly Drawn Boy). You can check out the tracklisting below.

Following some European dates in February, Band of Skulls will cross the pond in mid-March for a month's worth of North American dates. Along the way, they'll stop in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Joining them on all North American dates are Brooklyn rockers We Are Augustines. Check out the schedule below.
